I'm looking for something along the lines of this Koken but I have no idea what it's called or if anyone else makes them I don't even have a model number my buddy sent me the pic. Any and all help would be appreciated.

I have that. It's handy, but has a lot of backdrag, even after relubing.

You could also get an indexable ratchet. Harbor Freight and a few others carry em and they can be very useful

Sounds like the SnapOn rep was kind of arrogant. That kind of arrogance is never good. There are always alternatives.
