Snap on, gearwrench, SK, its all made in taiwan because thats where the patent for the ratcheting mechanism exists. Id say get the craftsman ones, they are labled USA, and they are easy to return if you ever need too.

Yeah They are very smooth, and the tolerances are nice... i mean the drive ring doesnt wobble around like youd expect it too... its a nice "tight" fit. my only complaint is that they are thin, but whatcha gunna do?

I actually like the middle of the body thin and would rather have the side alittle beefier so yes I agree with you on that

Reminds me of snap on... Id like to see them make them in a double box wrench... because i dont really use the open end of them that often, I grab a normal wrench, so it would be more efficient. Sears also skips one size in that set, I think it might be the 14mm, im not sure.

lol Yeah I have a set like that, just not reversing. Both the Sears and Snap ons are made by kastar, but the sears usea plastic insert to space to two outside plates, where the snap ons use a metal one. KAstar makes them for many different brands, I woulnt be surprised if they were making them for SK.

Most likely they are....the fit and finish is identical....unless the SK are using beefy internals to let them last longer
