I have a set of these bluepoint bit drivers at work and I'm trying to see if anyone else sells a similar set new. They have "made in USA" marked on the handles, so I figured someone else must make them.

I've found these made by Lang / Kastar which look like they were sold at walmart. The Lang site has Made In USA on the handles, too. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007TX0HS6/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Anyone have a set of these or a different brand? I don't care about brand names or colours if I can find a cheaper set and save a few bucks.

Made in USA doesn't really matter to me with this tool. I like the different offsets offered with the blue point set, and I have a set of Phillips bits I have cut down to different lengths. I own a Mastercraft set that only has one angle on the head and while it is low profile, sometimes it just wont fit.

Craftsman has those. 20$ for all 3. Low tooth count but I have heard good things about them

That is GOOD news - I'll see if I can find any at sears / online. Thanks.

These are the Craftsman ones: http://www.craftsman.com/craftsman-...p-00947477000P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1

The blue points you posted are 72-tooth, I think the Craftsman are 36. I'd go with the BP/Lang. If you're in a tight enough spot that you need these, fine tooth might be helpful.

I have the Wera bit ratchet, which I like quite a lot, but it doesn't come in offset configurations like you're looking for.

I have that set and like it a lot. The straight handle is all I've used so far, but the offsets may be handy someday.

Last weekend, I went to a Super Walmart. In its tool aisle, I saw hanging a Bostitch 32 piece bit wrench set for $19.99. The bit ratchet is one of the smallest on the market. It has a 72-tooth gear system and is made from CR-V steel. The bit ratchet has a lifetime warranty. Does anyone own one and used it?

I have Stanley model like the Bostitch. Mine has an 8mm boxend IIRC. Only use it occasionally when other tools are too big. So far so good but I don't put much torque on it.

I collect bit driver for use in horrible situations. I have the GearWrench microdriver set I think sold by several brands including Kobalt. Most recent are a set of GearWrench indexing ratcheting wrenches with a bit adapter, not to mention the bit adapter fits all the I think 10mm obstruction wrenches I have.

Always looking for more though.

langstar is the maker of the craftsman and BP models. lowes stock a kobalt model, one for $10 and one for $15. they're great. same as GW just half price.

cant go wrong with them and lifetime warranty on them at lowes, bits may also be warrantied?
