I really like those ratcheting breaker bars ... I have two, an 18" and a 24" that I just got last week. They make it much easier to fit 6 pt sockets over fasteners in tight spaces than the fixed breaker bars. I use the 18" to tighten lug nuts before applying final torque.

Isn't a ratcheting breaker bar basically a ratchet? Is it supposed to be stronger than a normal ratchet? Is it a really coase tooth design?

Just curious, seems a bit redundant.

a extra long ratchet with the fine tooth does handle allot of torque. Most likely better then the HF model that had luke warm reviews. And the titan was a little better, but still not stellar.

Still do not think of them can replace a solid breaker bar in torque, I have put 3ft cheaters on mine and have not broke yet, even though I have read the snap on can handle a pretty hefty amount to torque.

I think the sticker on bar reads 345 ft.lb.

I figure it will help me out with the leverage increase, plus the ratcheting action if cheater bar is needed.

Anybody have ideas on the drill bit or what I think is a drain plug wrench?
