Ratcheting Crimpers??

Stopped at goodwill and came accross these, I am not sure about them or how I did. I dont use these type of tools much in my field so I may resell so a suggestion of starting point?? thanks

Defiantly going to try and sell, they are for coax cables Rg58, Rg59 and 62. Just need a good starting point I guess since I now nothing lol

Well ok then lol, would a asking price of 100.00 shipped be out of question? they function fine as I can tell...only things I see "wrong" with it is it doesn't have original hardware for the die, takes a standard screw so not a huge deal? and scratched up with minor (surface) rust spots.

The crimping dies can be bought for most every type of wire terminals, so ask a good price if you/re going to sell the crimper.

I bought my brand new Knipex one with 5 dies for $175. Not sure why that one is worth $50 more.

Dies vary new between $15 and $50 depending on the die.
Used, it depends more on how useful the die is, than what the retail of the die was.

Used handles alone are worth probably $30-40.

Well if you care to double your money, I'd be happy to send you $6 plus shipping.

But really, I'd say to sell it on eBay if you're not planning on using it. It is a heck of a crimper, but this sort of crimp on coax is outdated and **** compared to compression. For cat5/6, you can get a used GMP for maybe double the price of the dies for one of these, but it is better (I have several of both).

The dies you have are for the pin and barrel on BNC connectors. BNC connectors are available in compression too (which are much more weather resistant), but are wicked expensive. So these might be useful to a CCTV camera installer, if they're not primarily doing IP.

Think I'd be happy with 25-30 with what was said here and my own research. I posted on my local craigslist for starters, a little high, but very negotiable. I am not is a huge hurry

They get much more expensive than that! Some are into the $2,000 region.
