If I were working in the IT trade, I wouldn't be using magnetic tools around electronic components. Many years ago, I lost a Piano ROM module on my Kurzweil synthesizer because of a screwdriver that had a magnetized head. That was a $350 lesson I'll never forget. Stick with ESD safe tools and keep them away from magnets. Also, use a grounding strap. Wiha makes some nice stuff.
Most IT stuff the screws you would use this on would not be touching components. I know guys who use the real low volt (4v i think now?) weak-*** drivers for component setup. We haven't changed physics but things are not quite the same as they were once; the danger of killing things just from touching a magnetized driver isn't nearly as likely for 'today's working IT guy' or whatever they're calling themselves now.
I remember those Kurzweils too. They were awesome.
The megapro suggestion; how is their ratcheting drive? I have a non rat megapro and it's great, though the handle is fat. Good sometimes, bad other times. I have that Wera Kompact too, non ratcheting, that I would probably say is the multi bit non rat driver I would carry around the office if needed.
Most situations you don't need a whole lot of shaft length variations.
