Ratcheting sockets?

At a swap meet this past weekend picked up a 1/4" drive ratcheting flex head socket? Its a small handle wrench, but instead of a 1/4' square drive end for attaching 1/4" sockets, it only has 1/4" hex socket? Anyone seen that before?

That sounds like a "bit ratchet", like what ItsNemo suggested. They're ubiquitous.

Like these? Bit ratchets, so useful as to be essential. I have a half dozen or more, in at least 5 different versions. Both in 1/4" and 5/16".
