I'm guessing the regular posters here don't go shopping for tools at Costco, but some of y'all might buy other stuff there and take a quick peek at their tools while you're in the store.

Someone told me that Costco carries a big set of ratcheting combination wrenches. Has anyone seen that set? Remember any details? (Contents, brand, price, etc.)

Their website search doesn't yield much, just a flex ratcheting wrench set that they've had for years.

Any info at all would be appreciated.

19.99 or 29.99 a set. 7 wrenches per set I think. It was a year ago that I got them. I got the metric set and it has worked great so far.

For the $$$ that you are going to spend, I would buy the actual GearWrench brand. They are consistently available at NAPA, Lowes and Sears. There is more support from Danaher for the wrenches and they are not that much more $$$.

Now, as soon as I say that, I will add that I really like the Husky Pro ratcheting wrenches from HD too....

The Sears Craftsman Pro ratcheting wrenches are nice... and I have a couple sets, but they are not that much nicer than the GearWrench brand and do not justify the added cost, IMHO....

I have the metric and sae from Costco. I like the ratcheting action and actually use the standard set for work every day and havent had a problem yet. Not good enough for most tool snobs but Id buy em again
