Can anyone provide me a short list of some of the top tier tool co's ratchets and part numbers and what they mean? I am looking for a few "new to me" 3/8" drive ratchets, but there are so many out there its hard to keep track. I get the F80's and F936's mean 80 tooth and 36 tooth, but what are the F720's, F832, F710 etc? If someone could just do a rundown from old to new of each model number and the tooth count I think that would help not only myself, but a lot of other people on this forum. Perhaps other brands also? Mac, Matco, Williams, Bahco, Cornwell, etc.. I understand this could be a bit tedious, but I'd appreciate any help. Thanks, Glenn

Reason I ask is because Snap On forwards you to their dual 80 ratchet no matter what you search.

On Snap-On:
F means 3/8" drive, while FH means 3/8" with comfort handle
An L will mean long, and a second F will mean flex-head
So an F80 means just a regular 3/8" ratchet, but FHLF80 means a long, soft-handled, flex-head.
They'll also add B for bent handle, K for stubby, and X for locking flex head.
80 or 72 is obviously the teeth. I only really know the current Snap-on stuff.
