Ratchting Offset Box Wrenches?

Right, so I have an application that requires both 1/2", and 9/16" wrenches. Conveniently, most of the offset ratcheting box wrenches I've come across have that combination, so this should be easy right... The problem is they all pretty much seem to ****. This is an open, accessible application, so I don't really need fine tooth (not that I've found them in offset), but it would be nice if the damn things just worked. I had a Craftsman from 12 or so years ago that never gave me problems, but that grew legs on me... I've had a variety of C'Man, Kobolt, and Husky in the last 4 years, and while I know they're not exactly top shelf stuff, they should work for this... Either they slip, or the direction change becomes locked... I could warranty them, but, since I've been through this with 4 or 5 of each brand, I'm done with them.

So, looking at the higher price brands, am I going to be equally pissed at them? I don't mind dropping a bit of coin on good tools, but by the same token, I hate wasting it if they're not going to be any better...

Are you talking the coarse tooth box wrenches? Lang tools makes a nice small set for $25, sold at Fleet Farm, im sure you can find them online.

I have a Craftsman USA one that has served me well too. It's a few years old, so I doubt the new Craftsman are anything like it. Maybe try Armstrong?
