RatFink boxes and accessories

Anybody here own any of the Rat Fink-themed boxes that Matco(I think) made a couple of years ago? I thought they were cool as can be, but have never seen one for sale locally.

I know a couple of people that have them, they are cool although not cool enough to justify the price.

I'm not even a Rat Fink fan per se, I just like the look of the boxes. I have to imagine they are just black boxes with vinyl decal appliques that could be peeled off if the urge hit.

They are whatever color they pick (some are purple/yellow/black) for the rat fink box, panels that are stuck on there. Yes you could pull them off.

According to the MATCO site, they still have tool carts available, the rolling cab's are long gone.

when I spoke to Matco the other day, the lady told me that they were going to be coming out with more Rat Fink boxes, but she couldn't tell me exactly when.

I think I'm gonna call my Matco dealer, see if he has a line on one. He always seems to have used stuff floating around too.

The only thing I don't like about special boxes is that the design doesn't blend well with the drawer handles. If the manufacturers would blend the drawer pulls into the design, it would look better at least from afar. Spiderman, ghost rider, drag racers all look funny with drawer handles across their faces. I've seen the Rat Fink panels removed and sold on Ebay as clocks.
