Got the raven flying today
So then, I had gifted my bride some numbers a few years ago, to help her remember how young she is!
Now she knows which way the wind blows too!

That's pretty cool, @royce. What did you do to patinate the metal on the raven and compass directions? Does it have enough "tail area" to indicate wind direction? It looks pretty well balanced.

Heat and solder flux for the patina with a cost of linseed oil over everything.
There’s about 4 times the area behind the axle, so it tracks the wind nicely.
Having the axle ride on ball bearings, helps too.
