Hi all,
been reading thru the forum here and wanted to get the groups view on what direction I should go with my garage floor.
I have about 850 sq ft in a 3 car garage with a work space. I'm not planning on wrenching too much but just mostly small projects around the house. I had a new floor poured about 1.5 years ago and so far there are no stains, chips are anything else so I feel I have a good canvas to work from.
my goal is to be able to do something "simple" but effective in keeping things clean and tight. While I like the look of a true epoxy solution, It would be difficult to move everything out for about a week to do the entire floor at one time. Besides the moving of everything, I'm not excited about doing any floor grinding or etching.
To that end, I'm considering Rust Bullet, tiles or maybe mats for the full garage. My thinking is that I can do either solution pretty much by myself moving things around in the garage doing about 1/3 of the floor at a time. Cost is important but not my overall goal and have priced solutions out from about $800 - $1200 for the solution. I'm fine with the price range and am wrestling with what to use for this work.
Since there seems to be a lot of experience and good advice here I thought I would get everyone's opinion.
what would you do to keep it relatively simple and something I could complete over a couple of weekends?
thanks in advance for any advice!
