Sure could use some advice here.
I'm installing 5 electric heaters in a 3 bedroom apartment (1 in each bedroom, one in living room, one in kitchen).
They have built in thermostats but I would like to control them with a single smart-stat (probably an Ecobee).
I understanding the wiring and the use of a relay and transformer (RC-840T).
But, I would like to mount all 5 relays in the same location (near the breaker panel) and continue to have access to them.
The relays mount to a knockout hole, through which the wires are run.
How can I mount all 5 so the relays and the wiring can be accessed at any time? I thought about installing another box right next to the breaker box, but either the relays or the wiring would be outside the box because of how it's mounted.
I could disregard the knockout mounting and just screw them to the back of the box.
Any ideas? Would be nice to get a safe, functional, elegant solution.
Thank you!
