RD FreeFlow XL?

I either **** at searching or there really isn't much on here regarding the XL's. I'm debating between the standard size and the XL. I'd like to see some more pictures of the XL if anyone has them.

Anyways, this is my first post after endless hours of creeping everyone's awesome garages.

IMHO this comes down to garage size. My personal preference is to use the 12" tile in the 2x2 pre-assembled squares up to about 600 sq ft. At 600 square feet, some people like the bigger squares. BUT

Keep in mind, visually you are really looking at the difference between 6" squares and 9" squares.

Thank you for considering RaceDeck - You can see photos and info about our RaceDeck XL FreeFlow here > http://racedeck.com/racedeck-products/free-flow-xl/ - The main difference between XL and the standard FreeFlow is the size. The XL comes in at 18"x18" ( largest interlocking tile in its class) and can even be interlocked with the !2"x12" . The performance is the same, more of a cosmetic choice.

Thanks guys, I know they are bigger, but searching this forum I see almost all RD owners using the 12x12 and that seems to be the most popular. I guess I was trying to see why most people were staying away from the bigger tiles.

Garage size definitely makes sense. Either way I'll most like end up going with the standard 12x12 size since it seems like those won't be going away anytime soon.

As stated the size of the garage really made my decision. Tie it into the fact the larger tile can give the appearance of a smaller space. Which I did not want.

Good point. I have two, 2 car garages. 12x12 it is! Can't wait!

Justin and Jorgen, what have you guys seen in regards to tiling raised sections in the back of garages? This picture is not my garage, but this is exactly what I have in the back of each of my garages. I have seen many pictures where guys don't tile this raised area. I'm thinking of tiling it but maybe using metal tile trim (the kind used for real tiles) for the whole front face of it.

Thoughts, ideas? My raised section is 1.5 inches tall. I wish I could just use an RD Edge but with a 1.5 inch raised section and a .5 inch tile butted up against it, that would leave me with a 1 inch gap to fill.
