Different brand, but looks like what I put down on my back patio last year. Mine slab is raised, 3 ft off the ground so it freezes really hard and all the way through. It was laid in '67 and was really showing its age. delaminating badly and deeply in places. I built up the really bad ones with a topping mix using an additive mix instead of water and put the thin stuff over it all. Looks really good and when through last winter (exceptionally cold in OK) without damage. So far so good.

No traffic other that foot traffic, but I think it is harder than the original surface. And, definitely absorbs water at a much lower rate.

Resurfacing products such as this have their uses and can be surprising durable. We typically use Ardex CD but I can't say that the Re-cap doesn't work just as well. A couple caveats however;

If the underling concrete isn't sound, stable and prepped properly, no topping is going to perform very well. Also, the video shows a fairly smooth substrate, which results in a smooth topcoat. This stuff goes on pretty thin and will telegraph even the smallest imperfections. Patching, grinding and leveling the substrate is time well spent. Finally, I'm not sure I'd trust any of these products to stay down on a smooth concrete surface with out some profiling of the surface.

Overlay products can be tricky so make SURE to fully follow the prep instructions to get a good bond.

In a garage with extreme temperature swings a thin coating could pop off if not well secured.
