Re-Key Craftsman basic chest

I have a new Craftsman basic ball bearing 3 tier 26" Chest. Does sears sell the 3 tumbler sets for this chest? As of right now all three boxes are keyed differently and its a royal PITA.
All I can find is the set for the 26" and 40" professional. Can either of those be made to work with my Basic chest?

I'm pretty sure there are only a couple different variations of the locks and most have to due with the design of the top lock.

My suggestion would be to take the locks out of yr box and take them with you. Match them to what's there.

You may have to change the rod on the back of the top lock but that's easy enough.

Take all the locks out and take them to a locksmith they'll charge 5 to 10 buck to rekey the other locks to match one key. I did this with my craftsman tool boxs. I had 3 different keys before.

Sears used to sell three locks and matching keys. I bought a small middle box a couple of years ago and swapped out the locks. I think it was about $15.00.

I did this with my Craftsman boxes, and also put them in my HF US General boxes with a little modification to the rod. If I remember right, I think its more like $30 for the three piece set.

I'll check sears and see what they've got. I need to pull my locks and see if the part that does the latching is removable.
