I cleaned out the waste trap in my sealed hydronic panel. I want to make the pressure correct again. Is the correct process to do the same fill steps as I originally filled it ,and then close the outlet and let it pressurize to 15psi again with the transfer pump?

Ayuh,... Don't ya have an auto-fill valve in the system,..??

If not,... Ya pump it up, bleed it, then repump it up,...

I have a sealed system in a shop with no water. No autofill system. I grabbed a gallon and a half of the glycol mix, the pump, a container, and the hoses and ran it. Figured a good thing to flush out the boiler even though its only a 1 year old setup. Then I pressurized it correctly. Pretty easy really.

As long as the system is down, I think it would be a good idea to check the Manuf specs on the system and use your transfer system to use an approved system cleaner prior to recharging. I was with a fellow who flushed his system with water and ended up with a problem with the boiler. I went with him to flush the system and boiler with the correct cleaner and you could not believe the **** that came out of the system.

This is why you should check the chemistry of the system and treat it if necessary. Flush and filling a system yearly is not a good idea more so if you are not treating the water.
