Heres my Kijiji find of the day! (Lightly used) Briggs and Stratton 2200psi gas pressure washer.. came with 5 different spray nozzles, fresh oil and a full tank of juice, retails for over $400 + tax at Canadian tire... scored it for $100!! cleaned her up a little and she runs like a top

That 550 series Briggs & Stratton is one of my most favorite small engines. An absolute piece-a-cake to work on.

^ good little motor. usually needs a new carburetor diaphragm every couple years - takes about 10 minutes to change it.
just don't tip the engine over on its side - left or right. if you've got to tip it: spark plug up.

Yes I learned that the hard way. Tip it one way and all the oil runs into the carburetor. Tip it the other way and all the oils runs into the combustion chamber.

Very helpful tip guys, I appreciate it!. I have a couple of other Briggs powered items and they've always run strong with minimal maintenance.

I had one that worked great for a few years until I sold it. Enjoy it!

the Quattro engine is actually a pretty good little power plant. don't expect too much of it - and don't tip it over on its side!

carburetor diaphragm kit is 795083 Briggs & Stratton - or you can get the equivalent at O'Reilly's Auto Parts for about $3 bucks. only problem I run into on them is that owners ****** the governor springs; replacing both of them exceeds the cost of the carb diaphragm, spark plug, and new air filter element.

holds 20 ounces of 30W oil. don't overfill it or you'll have trouble.
