Yes, trying to figure out how to cut a 3" down to 2" after the 3" is used up on the edge.

I googled this last night after posting and found a YouTube video. He made a crude press punch similar to linked above. Using a hydraulic press he pushed the cutter through the roloc disc to punch it out.
He removed the roloc button from each one and hot glued it to the cutdown disc. Not sure I wanted to go to that much trouble, would prefer to cut diameter of 3" and leave roll button on.

It seems like there is allot of good material left on a 3" after the edge is gone.

Just cut them with tin snips. No need to try to cut them in a circle. A series of straight lines works fine. The disc is a little more aggressive until it wears the points off.

Ahhh, didn't think about that. I use 2" and when the edges get wore, I take them off until I need to do some nasty work. I put them back on and try to make sure to hold them flatter to wear the center out.
