I am trying to make sense of the truss design from the manufacture software. Can some one explain the truss measurement for my 30 X 42' X 16' building? My guess is * 11Ft-11in-7/16 and * 11ft-8in-11/16.

This is how its label on the truss quote design.
* The height from top plate to top of roof peak = 11-11-7.
* The height from heel to top of roof peak = 11-8-11.

But it get confusing looking at these other measurement on the design.
A. 6-10-4 = ?
B. 23-1-12 =?
C. 16-3-8 =?
D. 30-0-0 =30FT

Thanks

Feet - Inches - Sixteenths

So 16-3-8 is 16’ 3-1/2”

You are correct in your height conversions

The length numbers are cumulative. So you start at 0 on the left, your 4-1/2” overhang is 0-4-8 , then the next joint is at 6-10-4 or whatever, and so on up til 30-4-8 which means your truss is 30’ 4-1/2” long total

EDIT: this manufacturer started your truss length from the outside of the top plate, which is why it shows -0-4-8 or -4-1/2” so your overall truss length is 30’ -9”
