To me it looks like the emblem is painted-over, more than painted-on. That black paint looks like it's under the emblem area as well.

The drawers look correct for a SO box. Someone else will hopefully chime in.

Yep, KR 537 like the one in my signature. If he doesn't have that top drawer, the value goes down a lot. I'd pay $75 for it the way it looks now and fabricate the top drawer.
