Really? Do you prefer Chamberlain over the LiftMaster?

I have had 2x LiftMaster 8500W for a long time now. Now, I'm looking for a third unit, and for some reason I google it.

What I find interesting (disturbing) is the fact that some people without any real argument go for Chamberlain (cost more) and avoid LiftMaster. Not only like it is a preference thing, but they are also actually convinced that Chamberlain has an advantage. I don't see any advantage of Chamberlain RJO70 over the LiftMaster 8500W. do you think that Chamberlain RJO70 gives you more than the competing 8500W model does?

P.S. I stick with LiftMaster no matter the answers.

The link you provided, is spam. Some one that has no clue what they are writting, just have the chamberlin sale sheet up.

They are the same company, same internal components. There are some difference of features to give product differation but its a lot like most buick and chevies, same base car/chassis/drivetrain just cosmetics and the buick might have a few more high end options.

Chamberlain owns Liftmaster and both are made in the same factory.
Kinda like Chevy vs Cadilac....most of the internal parts are the same....one just looks nicer.

I have the Chamberlain RJ070. Love it. In fact it looks just like the prior Liftmaster model...and the Chamberlain is about $100 cheaper.

I really like that LED light that comes with it.
