Yeah, I'm now caught between dealing with my car garage and building a new steel one. Now bare in mind I'm clueless about this.

I'm figuring 40'x40', unless someone else thinks there are better dimensions. This is just for me. No commercial shop.

I want to put in a single *** kicking lift in the middle with lots of work room, a Mohawk and here comes the kicker. Enough room to store my RV and sailboat both are 8' wide and 28' long and 12' high. You ought to see me tow the sailboat with the RV down the highway. It's just hilarious when I want to change lanes. +

Of course I would need a concrete pad that I could launch a Saturn V off of.

Heat would have to be propane or maybe I wait on that and do local propane cans.

I think I could get away one big damn sliding door as I'm a wizard at maneuvering equipment. using those tire dollies, they're a miracle.

Sorry if this is too much and too little. I'm wondering what a ball park price of the shell would cost. Not just wondering, sweating.
Thanks for your patience.

I looked real quick and a 40x40 with 16 ft ceilings, ovehang on the eve, 16x14 sliding door is about $11K delivered/after tax assuming you put it up.

I'm talking to Morton Steel buildings right now....My problem is that everything starts basic and functional and the next thing I know is I have Japanese lanterns hanging around the perimeter.

lol...the up sale!

I didnt get that pressure with mortons, but they were a bit beyond my price range (about double). Im not certain where the added increases where, but im sure they are worth it to the right person.
