Had to warranty some c-man stuff today and as I was walking through sears I spotted the Wiha insulated drivers(made in Germany) were on sale for $29.99 so I picked some up. Haven't got a chance to use them yet but the fit and finish of the wiha's are way better than the Greenlee insulated drivers I have been using. Just thought I would share.

Their Swiss insulated pliers are really nice too. Ash has a set of 10 of those insulated drivers available, I was very tempted. I only have one smaller one that Chads sent me as a sample a while back, it is very nice.

A little over a year ago I bought the identical set at Sears and I think I paid the same, it was a great deal. I use them often and they are still terrific, I'm a big fan. The only downside is that every time I look at them I start craving McDonald's. :)

The photo is after about 15 months of semi-regular use but I do wipe them down with Simple Green when they get dirty. The tips are still fantastic to me. It's a great deal when you catch them on sale.

Oh yea it was a great deal. The funny thing is that I was very content with the made in chine Greenlees I was using but when I got ahold of these baby's I said....DAMN! Oh well, I guess I can add the Greenlees to the yardsale pile.

Marketing in a nutshell. Make people dissatisfied with what they have.
