I bought some Koken rails and organized it better. The tool roll is nice it is full of el-cheapo wiha metric wrenches really saves space. Now I just need to upgrade my multi-meter and maybe get some sae stuff.
My husky pliers all had plenty surface rust on them soaked them in some cane vinegar and then wiped them down with some baking soda paste but they gained a yellow tint after that. I found a scotch brite drill bit cleaned them up really good then gave them a good wipe down with mystery oil. Odd thing is that they were sitting in my garage in a tool box and I used them regular enough (so I though). They are only 2-3 years old.
One more thought.. In the third picture the large shallow socket is my new koken 32mm oil cap socket for my jetta. Half way down it changes color to a yellowish tint. Date code is 154 part number is 3400m-24 . I know it is nothing to worry about just something odd that it is exactly half way that the discolor starts I wonder if that is normal.
