Reasonable price for used 60 gal compressor tank

I've been keeping my eye on CL for a decent used compressor (ideally upright 60-80 gal). What can one expect to pay for just the tank?

Depends on condition,mfg'er. For a 60-80 gallon tank probably anywhere from $50-$300

I paid $50 with a 7 hp motor about 3 mo ago.

I have been trolling Clist for 3-4 months now for a compressor and finally found a deal I couldn't pass up...

I just paid $50 for 80 gal. w/ 2 stage Speedaire pump and 7.5hp 3ph motor (23cfm @ 150psi). Searched Clist and found a 1ph 7.5hp motor (list $150 - pd $100) to enable use at my home. It came with a radiator style dryer too.

Nothing's perfect... Horiz. tank.

Tank was new in 2003 and cert. to 175psi.

It even has nice 6" HDuty casters welded to feet, 2 locking.
