Poured this setup last summer...going back looking through some pictures a question came to mind. These are 2 piers I put in for a two post lift...overkill - yes maybe, but I figured what the heck. During the pour, I took out the rebar grid you see in the holes, filled the hole half way threw the rebar back in, then finished filling and completing pour for the whole floor. I am now concerned that there was no wire mesh over the top of the hole....what do you guys think? Does it look like a good design still?

Mesh holds no structural value in a slab. Its only virtue is keeping differential settlement after a crack forms to a minimum. You have no concerns.

Ideally the rebar mat would be 2-3 inches off the bottom. As stated the wire doesn't do much other than hold the slab together if/when it cracks. You'll be fine.
