So I have been following the posts of the Mr. Cool installs and was going to pull the trigger last summer but held off. Well I think it may be time and saw there is a Fed credit of $300. Also so one for here in NJ for $500, but that just expired (purchased by the end of June 2020). I wanted to see if at least the fed credit applies even to the DIY model which I would be going for (12k unit). Wish I looked earlier, not sure if it is either or, or the combined rebate ($800 in this case) I could have had.

Costco isn't showing it anymore, so it is probably going to be from Ingrams, most others are out of stock (again, I waited too long to get off my ***)

Check your local Electric supplier as well, I got $400 per system I installed (with their approved contractor to Make final flare connections, Leak check, and start it up.)

That paid for his work and got me the warranty also.

Not sure on a diy system

Yeap, main reason for purchasing from Home Depot locally for me. They had a sale on the 18k Mr Cools and I remember a $300 power co rebate on top of that. I was thrilled. Still am!

Nice. I briefly looked over the info online, looks like they want some info from the company installing it. Did you have any issues since it was a DIY install?

I know that, but it looked like from the form I viewed that there needed to be info provided by the company that installed it. I just curious if the Feds gave you any issue since you installed it yourself. I would hope not since that why the Mr. Cool package is so attractive to most.

Read the details on rebates. My electric company wouldnt allow rebates if the units were used for a garage. Just an FYI

$300 each for my three self-installed, outdoor units from my electric company for me.
