Rebranded screwdrivers

Hi all,

I’m new to this forum and I did a quick search to see if anybody has alreadyanswered this question before posting But I saw nothing.

Does anybody have a list of companies who manufacture screwdrivers for other well-known companies? You know, rebranded screwdrivers?

I would also venture too say that most companies (not all) make screwdrivers for other companies, Stanley makes them for Mac, Proto, Matco, etc.

I think that Craftsmen and Kobalt were both rebranded Western Forge.

Snap-on rebrands their hard handle style for Williams,

Witte makes most of the current Matco screwdrivers & older Napa screwdrivers

Western Forge makes S-K, Husky screwdrivers. Not sure about current Craftsman, but they made standard and the Craftsman pro screwdrivers.

Like Woody says, most domestic made screwdrivers are likely made by only a handful of places. The "tool truck equivalent" thread may shed additional light on the subject.

Either Western Forge or Pratt-Read makes Channellocks. Pratt-Read makes the USA Master Mechanic screwdrivers at TrueValue

Seen Bost rebranded as Britool Expert, Stanley, SK.

Vessel ball grip rebranded as Craftsman.
PB Swiss rebranded as Garant.
Felo rebranded as NWS and Wurth.
Athlet rebranded as NWS.
Witte rebranded as Stahlwille, Cornwell and Matco.
Irazola rebranded as Bahco.

I think that Craftsman and Kobalt were both rebranded Western Forge.

At one time they were. Sears has since ended their relationship with Western Forge. Big mistake in my opinion.

Craftsman screwdrivers were also made by Pratt-Read and Vessel.
