Rebuild kit for Thorsen?

I have a Thorsen 77NR ratchet & it's in need of a rebuild kit. I haven't been able to locate one. Any ideas? Bob

Why and what would be the use for it in Bear Lake?

Is that the open gear ratchet ? Don't know if that type was meant to come apart, but it's been done.

Not sure if repair parts ever existed.

It's the only extended handle 1/2" drive ratchet I own & I need all the help I can get in my old age.
To which Urka do I have the pleasure of communicating with?


It's not an open gear head, just conventional about 30 yrs old.

I was thinking of the open gear with dust cap type. If it's either that or a round head you'd have to scavenge parts from another one.

Even the round head kits are not often seen but somebody is probably sitting on cases of them. Last I recall seeing were the quick release kits, and those ratchets are some of the least common.
