This is awesome! Great work and attention to detail, love the paint especially on the grease gun(wondered where the gun term came from until now)!

How does one make awesome labels like that?
Shorty
I was dusting my trophy case the other day and looked at one of my favorite trophies when it hit me "they can make my gun tags"

This is awesome! Great work and attention to detail, love the paint especially on the grease gun(wondered where the gun term came from until now)!
Thanks Oilslick

Getting so close to the finish line. The handicart is finished, the guns are 90% done. Today I finished the gun brackets.
Al that is left to do to finish this project is to paint the gun handles and mount the gun brackets and this one will be in the books and on display in the Pennzoil garage!!!

I 3D printed the bracket from this picture

5.jpg

Then sanded, primed and painted them

2022-01-22 14.20.29.jpg

Had labels made for them and inserted them inthe space

2022-01-23 15.51.31.jpg

And now they are ready to be mounted on the cart.

2022-01-23 15.49.10-1.jpg

I painted them the same color as the back ground of the sign to tie it all together.

I'm a happy camper tonight.

Yes, and they would probably sued...
I tried to find the patent on the tag, and got about noting but litigation records.
This has some good shots of presumably the original brackets and tags, and a slightly different but equally useless patent number.
