Just got an email about this. Thought I'd pass the information on in case any one affected hasn't been notified.

I'm currently on the fence as to weather I should participate in the recall. I picked mine up on clearance as an old display model for ~$7 ($12.** - SYW points) and I know I couldn't replace it for that price it that's what the refund would be.

Made the call several weeks ago when the recall was being posted. Got my $70 check in the mail. Simply box up the CM blower/vac and UPS picked up the package as promised. Never had a problem with this CM blower/vac but I have other corded/cordless blower/vacs to use.
