Needed a hitch for my zero turn. Created this 2" receiver mount for my JD Eztrack Z425. Not a lot of structure to work with so had to get creative.

Be careful. I've heard that most Zero turns can't handle the extra load of towing. Supposedly it will burn the hydrostats out.

When I'm mowing and I encounter a fallen limb, I push it out of the way with the mower. Even moved fairly large logs; 12" in diameter and 20' long. I have a Husqvarna 25 hp that is 15 years old and the drives are original. So I don't know what the fuss would be towing a trailer that has very little rolling resistance.

Good commerical grade z turn trans will hold up to some pulling..........home owner versions will not.

:thumbup:Both will wheelie at the worst possible time:wtf::headscrat:shocking:

I use a z turn to move enclosed trailers around.........a LARGE front counter weight was critical !!!

Some confusion comes on the warning labels ......all........should not be "pulled or towed in gear".

I have to confess...both my ZTs are commercial grade.
