Sent this link to my dad yesterday morning.....He called me yesterday afternoon, said he was within 2 miles of where the guy was. Dad picked it all up!!! Said the guy said he's had over 100 calls since the ad was put up yesterday morning!! Now I have some cleaning up to do and take inventory on the tools that it was filled with!

I have what looks to be the same top box. I bought it used in about 1978 or so from a mechanic that upgraded to a snap-on set! Mine is MBC (master cabnit builders) I still use it to this day! I'll get a picture up on Monday! For the price you did well, any tools are a plus!:rocker:

You mean MBC (Metal Box and Cabinet Corp)?

Post a picture of the drawer slides, I'm thinking it's a waterloo made box though.

You're the dirty dog that snatched it up! I was home sick with this never-ending sinus/cold and saw the ad. I took a nap and when I woke back it was marked sold.

Hope the tools are a decent score, I didn't need another tool box, but I like the treasures old boxes like that can hold.

Btw.. I'm in VA Beach..

For the paint in the tag, a razor blade across the surface, a small dental pick to get some of the paint out of the letters, or a dremel with a little wire wheel. The paint on this a old boxes is not great, so it should come off with a little persuasion.
