A thanks to everyone on the site for all of their posts, I got some great ideas for my garage finish from here. My garage is a 24 x 42 pole barn design, I had already had the heating and a/c installed prior to insulating and finishing.

Due to that and some areas and things that were already finished I went with plywood ceiling with blown in insulation and put plywood on the walls with regular fiberglass insulation, with the lower 4' covered by white vinyl to help with washing it out. I installed a wood stove to help in the winter with taking the chill out. Decorations are from years of photos and collecting junk.........we are dirtbikers if you can't tell....the dog loves the new home.

Love the woodstove! I had a BIG woodstove in my old shop and it was wonderful. It heated 800sq/ft within 30-40 minutes. Next shop I build will have another.

I wish the wood stove was a little bigger but it was what I had to work with and it does help keep the chill down during the winter months. Just the stove can keep it around 50 degrees or so when it is in the teens outside...hope to paint the floor next year, I wish I had done that first years ago when I built the shop........thanks.

Nice! Good to see a fellow rider! I'm putting up a 30x40x12 to hold my 30+ motorcycle collection and will 99% sure will install a wood stove too. I like the plywood sides........might do that myself when I get more $$.
