Recessed cans in carport -"Damp Location"?

For the roofed carport (no walls) area in front of my garage, I plan to add recessed can lights to the ceiling.

My neighbor gave me a bunch of Halo 27ICFT 6" incandescent cans left over from his home construction.

For the lenses for these lights, do I have to get wet location rated trim/lenses, or are standard lenses sufficient? I believe this area would be classified as a "protected canopy".

You should be fine with standard trims,I have yet to see anything else used outdoors,but there is always an exception somewhere.
