Recessed Light - Cover in Attic?

I've got 20 LED recessed lights in my house that sit in NON-IC rated housings. No insulation is to be withing 3" of the housing.

They make TENMAT covers for $15 each that act as a seal, allowing attic insulation to cover. ($300 total)

They also make new IC rated lights that I can buy for $10 each. ($200 total)

Question:
Would you replace the lights or cover? Sounds like a DUHH to replace and save $100, but going that route still leaves the new lights unsealed and susceptible to air leak. Thanks!

Sounds like spending a dollar to save a penny. If you can swap the can in 15 minutes that's 5 hours to do them all. Putting the covers on would take maybe a minute each.

The IC rated lights that you can buy for $10 each....I wouldn't take if you gave them to me for free plus $10 each.
