Are they really three times better?

Richard, found your post while searching for information on sprayers (I'm shopping around for one). Here's one crucial difference I noticed:
  • Truepower sprayer: Max pressure, 90 PSI ; apparently there's a relief valve to make sure it doesn't pressurize higher
  • Sure Shot Model B atomizer sprayer: Max pressure, 200 PSI.

Shureshot's manual indicates the following:
Working pressure is 80 - 145 psi. At least 80 psi is necessary to spray the full 7, 8 or 16 ounces without repressurizing.

Looks like I'll be picking up a couple of the sureshot atomizers :)

As far as spray nozzles...I stopped clearing them too, IMHO there is barely enough propellant for the PRODUCT in there, nevermind wasting it on clearing the nozzle.
SO what I've done is hopped on eBay and purchased new nozzles...apparently they are popular with the Grafitti art crowd. Whats cool is they offer different spray patterns even. so for a couple bucks I got like 50 spare nozzles.

Another application is while I dont mind the Valspar spray paints, I HATE the nozzle & spray pattern...I just pop the goofy top off and put my own nozzle in and voila!

Did anybody else find it weird that the description on the Menards site says it can be used for hairspray? I guess I should have known you could buy it in bulk too.

I'm well into a month of using mine, from Menards. No complaints at all.
Running one with ATF/Acetone mix, and one with bulk brake cleaner.

Well built, hold pressure, no leaks. Closest thing to a complaint I have, is that the Schrader valve sticks out the side a bit too far. My guess would be that this will be it's downfall someday, when it lands just right after a fall.

Yes! I work at Chevy dealer doing quick lube and we use these all day long. We buy brake cleaner by the barrel and refill the sure-shots. Works great!
