Recoated me floors

I had a issue with me epoxy yellowing from UV rays, so i tinted the windows and put a black out drape over the side window, then recoated using rustoleum epoxy shield 2 1/2 garage kit, also used their gloss clear coat, i went heavy on the chips, using an extra 2 bags of chips. came out pretty nice, its really on there nice and thick. hoping it will stay good for years, only issue i had with it before was it was starting to yellow.

How long had the floor been down?

How did you prep the floor before applying the new stuff?

If the previous floor that yellowed was epoxy, did you have any trouble with hot tires sticking to the expoxy?

thanks, yeah, it actually looks really good in person, pics dont really show how nice it is.

the original epoxy shield has been down for like 2 1/2 years now
i prepped it by simply cleaning the floor well
the previous floor was the exact same rustoleum epoxy shield, i never had any issues with hot tire sticking, never any issues at all, only issue was the yellowing, here are a couple pics of the old floor.

Its hard to see in the pic, but it had some pretty good yellow spots, but yea, for sure a FWP.

You certainly have a lot of chips in that floor . . . . . . but I LIKE it! It looks really good!

If you topped w/ epoxy again....it will yellow again.
Need a UV resistant epoxy or urethane on top.

Floor looks really nice.
