Recognize This Craftsman Box?

Anyone recognize this Craftsman wall-mount box? Looks like it might be for a router, but that doesn't make a lot of sense. I'm tempted to grab it, no matter what its original intent.

Not a wall mount, white plastic handle on top. I can say it is not for the circular saw, 1/4" drill, or jigsaw (have those in boxes like that). Mid later 60s era.

Found it in the 1963 Catalog, but not 1964 or 1960-61 (62 missing from Vintage Machinery). It was a combination wall mount or carry case for a 3/8" drill and accessories with room for a sabre saw and half-sheet sander. The funky looking fork in the middle was where the drill mounted. It swings out when the case is opened.

I try so hard to stop...really I do...but I gotta have this.

I was about to say it was for a drill. I have one of those boxes in my basement from a drill my Dad had long ago. The drill is long gone, but I still have the box.
