Recognize this Kent Moore tool?

I have a few old Kent Moore tools I am going through to see what they are for. This one seems to have the number partially machined off, before it was chromed. I think I can make out J-2?508-1. I looked through lots of KM numbers, but couldn't find what this is. Similar to a ball joint separator.

If the hole is threaded, I'm pretty sure it is a ball joint separator from the late 70s early 80s. Looks like one I bought back then, but it wasn't a KM.
