Turns out it's a Lakewood Spacemate, made in Ontario, Canada

Known for early cadillac converter stoves. Doesn't seem like it's UL or CSA.

Sweet cool stove though.

The stove itself isn't cadillac, but it's got a Dorwood cadillac converter adapter on top.

If you use a stove, are they required to have those certification's ? It looks like it'll put out some heat.

No, not really.

Most insurance wants a WETT inspection, which is easy to pass even with a homemade stove, although they require ridiculous clearances (48 to 60 inches from combustables).

The firebox takes lengths of wood verticalls I guess, as it's tall and skinny. Strange stove but I'll rock it.

Not sure how much it'll help in the 7300 square feet it'll be helping to heat.

If that 7300 sq ft is well insulated and you heat it all the time, it'll probably do more than you think. The key is to get the concrete warm and hold the heat. Use a box fan to move the air slowly.

Or is this going in the home ? Use the furnace fan to move the warm air through out the house and make sure the T-stat isn't close to the wood burner.
