The HF one didn't last me 1 year.
I am small and yet the plastic broke where the casters mounted. I wouldn't buy another one.

If ya got the room, get a lift..

^^^THIS^^^

Last place I worked we did everything on floor jacks, jack stands and creepers. Did it for 3 years full time. I wore out 2 of the low pro plastic Lisle creepers. Last one I owned was a Snap On low pro creeper heavy as hell but built like a tank.

I sold it to my brother as he works on lawn equipment ans heavy trucks from time to time. I went to work for a dealership that has lifts and won't be going back to working on the floor anytime soon.

How about this one?

That would certainly increase the quality of life a mechanic enjoys; especially upon retirement. They should be in every shop.

The **** people do to their spines in such an environment has a price, and sooner or later it must be paid.

I got the Bone creeper, added a piece of 1X1 tubing to two of the wheel bolts with a piece of one of those pool noodles slipped on for a headrest. Works fine. My BendPak lift means less work on the creeper, but I still need it for some stuff.

I'm 6'4" 285#... had a Summit one until the wheels/casters failed... bought an ATD that looks like the HF previously pictured... it works but does drag on hot days or big lunches. I still have it but bought a Snap-on Heavy Duty one but have not used it alot yet...

I havent used a creeper in a long time- since my epoxy floor. However, Id be interested in one if there are any recommendations for a reclining creeper as someone mentioned earlier? I find that lifting my head is more comfortable when turning wrenches in tight spots but also a pain in the neck later, literally lol
