Recomendations for finishing product

I want to seal/epoxy finish my garage floor. When I get ready to do this what is the best product(that won't cost over $100.00 for 600sq ft) to use on a rough finished floor? My floor appears to be some kind of broomed finish but it seems really rough, for a garage floor(to me) My drive way is smoother... I want to use something that gives me the option of a really bright white finish. I want to reflect as much light as possible from the overhead lights under the cars when I am under them working. The stuff they sell at HD, and Lowes is like $100.0 for 400 sq ft(f that). I know there are other products out there, just don't know how much they cost or where to buy locally.

Also, how should I prep the floor? I have a few areas that are well soaked with oil(you tell even after I have cleaned it up with oil dri).

I am guessing that HD and Lowe's will be on the less expensive end of the spectrum (and rightfully so), but you want to cover more area with a better product for the same amount of money?

What I'm looking for is something that will alst at least 10yrs, and not bust the bank. I can't find anything at Lowes or HD for under $150.00 that will cover 600 sq ft(I have to buy 2 2 car kits there), and gives me super ultra reflective burn yer retinas white. If I thought it was cheaper I'd consider cleaning-bleaching-and sealing the floor with some kind of high gloss sealer...

I know I'm cheap, but I wanna waste my money on solar/wind for my electricity, and an alcohol still for my DD...

Your durability requirements for the coating vs. the cost that you want to incur are pretty much mutually exclusive. Maybe you can find an epoxy floor guy who will trade epoxy for some moonshine?

The best coating for your budget is still probably the epoxy-shield kits, but you won't get that in a brilliant white color.

I'll keep looking, I've been waiting 2 yrs, and building the still is more important than sealing/brightening the floor.
