Recommend a Battery Charger

I'm needing to buy a 12 volt battery charger for charging car batteries. I would need one to do both standard batteries and the AGM batteries. Anybody have any recommendations for one, hopefully less than $100? Some of them advertise battery reconditioning mode; does this actually work or is it just a gimmick?

this thing is awesome i have two of them, my inverter went out on my motorhome so this bad boy kept up my golfcart battery bank and my chassis battery bank like a champ.

it properly errors out when it needs to and that 20amp charge is great on high lead/ very deep cycle batteries like golfcart and marine batterys

I have been really happy with my 2/12/50 amp from sears. The model I have is a few years old and discontinued, but functions flawless and has helped me out of a jam on a couple occasions. If I were to buy another, I would just pick up the current model with those options.

Check out the Ctek MXS range. They handle modern batteries and have a recondition function.

They're not cheap, but they're good.
