Recommend a fuel pressure tester

Hi,

I'm looking for a fuel pressure tester for diagnostics on my friends and family's trucks and cars.

I'd like to spend under $100.

So I'm pretty sure that rules out all the truck brands.

I do not need one of the super duper sets, with 500 adapters. I pretty much only work on Ford trucks.

I know harbor freight sells a kit, but it's got some awful reviews.

What do you guys use?

Mac has a set that's probably the same quality as the HF but with a warranty. If it's not used on a daily basis, go cheap, add or replace the parts as they break. You may be able to put together what you need specificity from a parts store.

I like my star kit I got off the SO truck. Only has 2 adapters, GM and ford style. Can't remember price, but have found them fairly cheap used on ebay

For less than $50 look for an actron unit.

It comes with the Ford 3/16 adapter and GM Schrader valve adapter. It's a no frills unit that's pretty accurate.

Otherwise, look at a Lang (formerly star basic kit), or a lisle basic kit.

I've got a Lisle tester and it matches up with my friends SO tester. No more than I use one couldn't justify the coin on a SO.
