Anyone have a recommendation for a good DC to 120v AC 1500w (continuous) inverter?

Needs to come with alligator clips for quick connecting to battery.

Can’t fight physics.

Do you know how to calculate the amps you are pulling?

If you want quality, Victron.

I need max 10 min run time at a time, so bolting and unbolting is a no-go.

I'm running 1200w, so really need a 1500w inverter.
They have a 1000w , 2000w and 3000w models

I've been using high quality inverters since the 1980s and would recommend Anderson connectors and minimum #6 welding cables, or better #4 cables. I'm using 4/0 for the 6 to 8 foot cables to connect my 4kw 24 volt inverter to the batteries.

1500w output is going to mean over 150a of draw at 12v.

That's not happening for 10 min on alligator clamps, unless you want them to be a light source

Wouldn't 1500w at 12v be 125a? W = V x A

Alligator clamps shouldn't be a problem as long as its all rated correctly.

I think I found what I was looking for in the 'Handy Power X Power Source'.

Pure sine wave, 1500w, and Clamps.

No inverter is 100% efficient.

I'd love to see alligator clamps that come with a cheap inverter that are rated for that amount of current for that a out of time. I bet it doesn't exist
