I'm looking for new test leads from my DMM. I'd like a silicone jacketed wire, they seem the most fleixible to me, with the pointy leads and perhaps the add on ends that have the little grabbers on them.

Thanks,
Ryan

G1K, check out the Fluke lead/probe bundles. They have some that are designed for particular applications, including automotive. I have no personal experience with Pomonas, and several people on here like them, but a colleague who used them heavily for electronic/computer diagnostics found their durability to be severely lacking compared to Fluke. Specifically, he found the strain reliefs prone to breakage and the insulation susceptible to little nicks (which eventually go through to the wire) from sharp edges.

THat's a nice price on the TLK-282 set from Tooltopia. I'd start there, personally.

i gave up buying anything but fluke leads. i recently had to replace my old fluke meter after running it over. my new meter came with new test leads, but the working end of the leads were different from the old set that i had.
i ended up buying another set of alligator clips, my olds ones werent compatable with the new leads. my old leads were getting pretty ratty, and in cold weather they dont flex very good
