Recommend Air filter, dryer and regulator setup

I'm re doing my air system which was just a 60 gallon tank and some black pipe. I ran my impact off full pressure (140psi) when I rebuilt them evey thing looked fine, other than the o-rings.

I've got in to painting a little bit and need a good setup to keep the water out (lines are already configured according for this) I've seen some systems that are 3 bank where it's filter,dyer/water separator, regulator.

In a pinch I went to lowes and the damn regulator will not go above 60psi. Tank pressure read 150 and on the box it said "adjust pressure from 0 to 150psi.

Pressure range I need is 15 to 100psi. 15psi for spray gun and 100 for air tools and sand blaster.
Suggestion on brand?

I'd go with Wilkerson or Aro for the pressure regulator.

I've been satisfied with Milton products. Usually available at Northern Tool or Amazon. For paint you probably want a filter/dryer, regulator, and coalescing filter.

I've got Norgren regulators and filters on my system. No problems at all, and you can find them on ebay for cheap! (F74G,B74G and R74G).

Milton is good. I use a HF dryer and a HTP Max Dry setup with regulator for my plasma table. Pretty good air quality for the price.

I have been picking up Master Pneumatic industrial units where I can. The company is in Sterling Heights, the old labels read Detroit. The other choices above are good as well. SMC is a newer player in the industrial market, I would also use their products.

I don't run a dryer but I do use a coalescing filter.

I use what ever I can find. I got a cheap flr set from Menards that is ok, toss the oiler in the junk. Get the right size, bigger is not better and you can find a filter with 3/8 at Home Depot and such for about 25$.
Shopping is so much better today as per some of the recommendations above. Some of the stuff I bought back in the day was really costly and I found cheaper ways around it.
I had a problem with an old cheap reg a while back, I managed to have a replacement I got in a box with some other parts was a near direct fit.

I have since plumbed and have the shut off on the steel line prior to this so there are a couple pieces that could go. The valve I don't need and do not need the coupler, put it on there and never did use it.
This regulator feeds only 1 thing and its a hose reel out front of the building. The hoseis 26 yrs old from HF and has had the work end chopped off a few times, its originally 3/8 but is about 1/2 now from decades being on 24/7
It has always been a plan to fashion a weather shield but it never happened. I plan on a new hose and want a 75 footer this time.

If you are going to paint cars, the air needs to be filtered and dry.
Be aware an aftercooler or pipe loops do not dry the air.
If you don't have an air dryer, use a disposable inline desiccant dryer.

I used a devilbis QC3 filter. I believe I bought it from Eastwood. I bought it a couple years ago and just recently got around to actually installing it. It comes with its own regulator. I installed it at the farthest point from my air compressor. At the mid point of my air line run, I installed a separate drop with a filter and regulator from Lowe's. Ill use that one for tools. The QC3 drop is planned for dedicated painting. ....just my design...one way to skin the cat.
